Sonia Kaur is a Registered Massage Therapist with experience in multidisciplinary clinical settings in Ontario and Calgary. She has worked with clients experiencing pain, persistent tension, movement restrictions and activity-related concerns.
Her approach is clinical, evidence-informed and individualized. Each session begins with attentive listening and is guided by the client’s concerns, goals, comfort and response to care. Focused assessment, hands-on treatment, movement awareness and active care may be incorporated when appropriate.
Sonia’s areas of focus include deep-tissue massage, myofascial therapy, sports massage, post-activity recovery, movement-based treatment, pain management and TMJ treatment, including intra-oral techniques. She also holds Level 3 certification in Dr. Vodder Manual Lymph Drainage and provides pre- and post-surgical massage and scar-tissue treatment.
Sonia also brings eight years of experience working in long-term care, where she supported older adults with complex health needs and mobility limitations, including individuals living with dementia and Parkinson’s disease. This experience shaped her appreciation for maintaining strength, movement and physical independence throughout life. As an active runner, cyclist, hiker and dancer, Sonia understands the physical demands of training, the importance of recovery and the role both play in sustaining an active lifestyle.
